“Over the last 20 years we have stayed in a vast selection of self catering cottages and larger houses. However, we have never come across such a well equipped kitchen in all that time - it was certainly home from home. We also loved the cake and were very appreciative of the supplies of basic items which many places fail to provide. There were also lots of positive comments about the feather pillows and duvets, the comfortable beds and the excellent en suite facilities - an increasingly important factor as we all get older! The standard of decoration and cleanliness was also very good throughout the property. The table football also took us back to our student days although the rather windy conditions prevented us from using the outdoor table tennis table! However, we were able to enjoy drinks on the patio late afternoon. A great location with excellent views across the valley and a very comfortable and spacious lounge. You can feel very proud of the quality of accommodation you provide at Sladen Lodge.”
